Canastota is hosting it’s 1st Annual St. Jude’s Trike-A-Thon to raise money for this amazing cause.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 1 from 12pm-4pm @ ZEM’S

Please register for this event. Like anyother fundraiser walks, our trike-a-thon also requires a small registration fee that will benefit St. Jude Children. To register online, it is a $5 fee. On-Site Registration will beging at 11am on Sunday, Aug 1st and will be $10. I urge everyone to sign up early! This event is not only for triking tots. It is for all ages. Feel free bring ride-on toys, Cozy Coops, bikes, trikes, unicylcles, or whatever else you have laying in the garage!

We are so lucky to have the participation of the Canastota Police Department. They will be assisting in not only the biking part of the event, but also assisting in the other aspect of our trike-a-thon… BIKE SAFETY! The police will be helping with helmet checks and teaching the kiddos the important lessons of riding safely.

ALL participants will recieve a coloring book, a pretend biking lisence, a snack, and a drink… as well as a special prize bag!

ALSO, We encourage participants to find sponsors and raise money on their own to give to St. Jude’s. There are special incentives that St. Jude provides to those who raise money, and we will also be giving away a grand prize to the participant who raises the most money for our cause! You can collect money or checks made Payable to Canastota Trike-A-Thon. I have sponsorship envelopes available for participants, just shoot me an email at CanastotaTrike-A-Thon@live.com and I will get one out to you ASAP.

$35 or more they receive a Trike-A-Thon T-shirt.

$75 or more they receive a Bikewell Bear or Pedals the Bunny plush toy and a Trike-A-Thon T-shirt.

$100 or more they receive a Bikewell Bear backpack, a Bikewell Bear or Pedals the Bunny plush toy and a Trike-A-Thon T-shirt.

I decided to host this event because I feel it is important to get your children involved in fundraising from an early age. St. Jude is the perfect fundraiser to not only get kids thinking about others who need their help, but their trike-a-thon fundraiser also promotes safety for our own children. This event teaches children the importance of riding safely and staying active, all while having a great time! I hope to see many people out for this event, enjoying themselves!
